The release of Q3 production results has once again provided an insight into the progress of new capacity and it seems that the ramp-up rates remain slow. Sherritt reported nickel production at Ambatovy of 5,459 tonnes in Q3 2013, down 23% q/q as the plant was hampered by mechanical challenges.
