We had a partly complete set of first-quarter mine production numbers to hand last month. But a fuller set has not significantly changed our estimates, on either a Western or a global basis. Recently commissioned operations have not generated any surprises. Our original forecasts for these always assumed a delayed start-up, and that operations would take more time to achieve full production than their owners had been aiming for. For example, despite Lundin reporting a delayed circuit installation at Aljustrel, output for the quarter at this mine was in line with what we guessed it might achieve. Some new mines have even exceeded our expectations. Cerro Lindo beat our figure, although we are cautiously assuming that this may not be maintained if (we don't know) it is processing high-grade ore.
