摘要

Two different approaches presented in recent literature for the treatment of dispersive kinetics for a first-order(F1)conversion mechanism are compared from a physicochemical perspective.The author's approach is found to be successful in describing activation energy trends as a function of time that can be predicted from a simple extension of Marcus theory.Thus,the approach is considered to have a sound fundamental basis.
