Fellow Sorensen's book series wins PROSE award

A BOOK series on distillation co-edited by IChemE Fellow and University College London professor Eva Serensen has won a prestigious PROSE award in the US. The American Publishers Awards for Professional and Scholarly Excellence, better known as the PROSE awards, are presented annually. Judged by peer publishers, librarians, and medical professionals, they cover categories including humanities, biological sciences, social sciences, art and physical sciences. The Distillation series, published by Elsevier, won the chemistry and physics category. There are three books in the Distillation series, which is edited by Andrzej Gorak, Eva Sorensen, Hartmut Schoenmakers and Zarko Olujic, covering Fundamentals and Principles, Operations and Applications, and Equipment and Processes. The contributors are all renowned experts in their fields, and Sorensen herself contributed three chapters.
