The academy, the first of its kind in India, Middle East and Africa (IMEA) offers certified training program for the converters and Flexible Packaging Industry professionals. Henkel Flexible Packaging Academy in Mumbai, which was inaugurated in February provides training, which is based on the principle of 'Learning by Doing' and combines essential theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical training. This state of the art academy, a first in India, provides formal training on lamination technology to entrepreneurs, production managers, supervisors, operators, quality control professionals of the flexible packaging industry. The modules are designed to cover all aspects of flexible packaging lamination techniques through practical experience on commercial scale lamination machine. Methods of producing healthy laminates and troubleshooting will be the key highlights of the training.
