A strong year of growth in India, despite slightly weak Q4 demand

Indian industrial production and GDP are expected to have grown by 10.6% and 8.8% respectively in 2010. These figures are particularly impressive considering that these macro indicators were scarcely affected by the global financial crisis in the previous year, and therefore the base level for growth was high.
