The ethylene market in Latin America was unchanged week on week, amid stable supply and demand. Brazilian producer Braskem has said production and demand in Brazil are in good shape, while a Pemex source in Mexico has said the same. Argentina’s YPF said it completed the purchase of Apache Corp.’s operations in Argentina, a move aimed at expanding the state-run energy company’s share in the natural gas business and boosting light crude production, sources said.
