US spot ethylene dropped 6-cents/lb week on week, assessed Friday at 45-45.50 cents/lb FD USG in actively traded markets following talks of oversupplied Texas producers. The assessment is at its lowest level since the July 12, 2012 assessment of 44.400-44.900 FD USG, Platts data shows.
