Export and import activity remained unfeasible, sources said, as Asian prices were still quoted higher than European prices, which are traditionally at a discount to their Asian counterparts; US prices were seen close to European parity, dampening trading opportunities in either direction. Nonetheless, with a number of butadiene outages in Europe, sources reported a number of crude C4 exports taking place to the US, with values of around a 1.25 multiple to naphtha on a FOB NWE basis the prevailing price level.
