Houston — US chemical maker Westlake Chemical is open to partnering in a "condo cracker" project, the company' vice president for olefins, Lawrence "Skip" Teel, said Thursday. "I think it makes sense," Teel said at the IHS World Petrochemical Conference in Houston. "It helps balance the risk associated with investment. I think it certainly helps the people that need a share of ethylene that is less than that of a world-scale cracker."
