Global VLC tracker: North Asia-bound ships hit new lows

London—The number of vessels bound for North Asia Wednesday hit the lowest level in at least nine-weeks, cFlow, Platts trade flow software showed, while in the Persian Gulf Saudi sailings fell to multi-month lows and Iran’s crude oil stockpile continued to shrink on outflows to China. A total of 112 ships were destined for NA, down from 118 last week, against a decline in Saudi departures to a three-andhalf- month low of 23 while Iran’s crude oil storage fleet fell by three VLCCs.
