India and Bangladesh have finalized the route for the first cross country oil products pipeline, state-owned Bangladesh Petroleum Corp.’s chairman A M Badrudduja said Monday. The 129-km (80.16-mile) pipeline will carry oil products from Indian state-owned Bharat Petroleum Corp. Ltd.’s Numaligarh refinery in the eastern state of Assam to BPC’s oil depot at Parbatipur in Bangladesh’s northern Dinajpur district.
