Shanghai-China's state-owned trader Sino- chem has still not firmed up long-term crude supplies for its greenfield 12 million mt/year (241,000 b/d) Quanzhou refinery in southern China's Fujian province. "We have still not secured any perma- nent supplies for the refinery, but it will mainly take Middle Eastern crudes. Kuwait, Iraqi and Saudi Arabian supplies are all suit- able," the company's assistant president, Zhong Ren, said Thursday on the sidelines of the China International Oil and Gas Trade Congress in Shanghai.
