Vanguard buys Antero Arkoma Basin assets

Houston—Small Denver-based Antero Resources has inked a deal to sell all its oil and gas upstream assets in the US’ Arkoma Basin of Oklahoma and Arkansas to Vanguard Natural Resources for $445 million in cash, the companies said June 4. The deal between the two companies includes associated commodity hedges, Antero said in a statement. Assets are primarily gas with some associated liquids. The deal is expected to close at the end of the second quarter.
