Vanguard Buys Antero's Arkoma Basin Gas Assets

Vanguard Natural Resources has agreed to pay $445 million in cash for all of privately owned Antero Resources' upstream assets in the Arkoma Basin, along with associated natural gas hedges. Denver-based Antero is selling 66,000 net acres in the Woodford Shale in Oklahoma and 5,300 net acres in the Fayetteville Shale in Arkansas.
