Wintershall CEO calls for increased NOC cooperation

London—The head of German oil and gas producer Wintershall has called on European companies to forge more strategic partnerships with the national companies of oil producing countries in order to secure supplies in light of growing demand for oil from China and India. Wintershall CEO Rainer Seele met September 28 with OPEC secretary general Abdalla el-Badri and senior International Energy Agency official Ulrich Benterbusch in Berlin to discuss the state of global oil markets.
