New York-New York Mercantile Exchange May crude oil futures settled 15 cents lower at $105.60/b March 24, backing off of ses- sion highs as investors weighed the risk of unrest in the Middle East and Libya in addi- tion to eurozone debt concerns. Earlier, NYMEX May crude traded as high as $106.69/b, but the geopolitical uncer- tainty and eurozone debt issues kept prices subdued, analysts said.
