Iran, India to switch oil payment currency

Dubai-Iran and India have agreed to replace the US dollar and the euro with the Chinese yuan and the UAE dirham for crude oil purchases as a temporary measure to ensure the continued flow of crude to India, though there were signs January 5 that the currency row was already having an impact on the purchasing pattern of at least one major Indian refiner.
