Russia's rosneft unveils ambitious growth forecasts

Moscow-Russia's largest oil producer Rosneft expects its oil and gas output to increase to 170-180 million mt/year of oil equivalent (3.4-3.6 million boe/d) by 2020, a senior company official said June 22, which would be growth of more than a third on last year's level. "The growth will be [achieved] mainly through gas projects and new oil projects," the company's acting upstream chief, Gani Gilayev, told reporters on the sidelines of an oil and gas conference in Moscow.
