PNG's Oil Search sees Q3 revenue fall 26%

Sydney-Papua New Guinea-based Oil Search is gearing up for one of the biggest exploration efforts in its history, and one which could underpin the development of third and fourth production trains at the PNG LNG project, currently under construction by ExxonMobil. The disclosure came October 25 as the company posted operating revenue of $160.2 million for the third quarter, down 26.4% from $217.8 million in the second quarter, mainly reflecting lower oil sales.
