African Petroleum upbeat on Liberia oil well results

Cape Town-West Africa-focused oil and gas explorer African Petroleum said September 9 it has completed drilling the first well in the deepwater off Liberia, and although it found no commercial quality reservoir, it said it had confirmed a "working hydrocarbon system." African Petroleum said no hydrocarbons was encountered with the Apalis-1 well and consequently no well production test was undertaken.
