Indonesia to offer oil, gas, CBM blocks in November

Jakarta-Indonesia plans to offer 33 blocks, including 24 oil and gas blocks and nine coalbed methane blocks later this month as part of the government's efforts to boost the country's oil and gas output, a senior govern- ment official said November 10. Of the 24 oil and gas blocks, 18 will be offered via the regular tender process and six through the direct bidding process. The blocks are in Kalimantan, onshore and offshore Suma- tra and offshore Java, Papua and Sulawesi, the oil and gas director general at the energy and mines ministry, Evita Legowo, said.
