Mumbai-India has completed the rollout of Bharat III fuel, equivalent to Euro 3 emission standards, across the country well ahead of its October 1 deadline, the oil ministry said September 23. The maximum sulfur limit in BS-III gasoline is 350 ppm and in BS-III gasoil is 50 ppm. BS-IV gasoline and gasoil, equivalent to Euro 4 specifications, with a maximum sulfur limit of 50 ppm, were introduced in 13 major cities April 1.
