1. This paper attempts to inform about the role of informationalspillovers in the diusion process for clean energy indeveloping countries2. A household's decision to use LPG as the primary cooking fuelmay depend on other households' (located in the same village,or urban block) decisions to do so, controlling for factorsfound to be important in the literature2.1 Magnitude of peer-eects vary for rural and urban households2.2 Peer- eects stronger amongst households residing in stateswhich were favored in terms of supply and subsidies3. Policy implications: targeted subsidies, demonstration projectsand informational campaigns.
