Tokyo-Japan’s JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration plans to boost its production to 200,000 b/d of oil equivalent over the next 10 years and is set to launch a number of exploration projects in Southeast Asia, while seeking acquisitions in regions such as West Africa to help achieve its target, President and CEO Makoto Koseki told Platts in an interview.
