London-UK-based Tullow Oil has drilled a successful appraisal well on the Tweneboa discovery offshore Ghana, confirming a "significant" oil and gas condensate field, the company said January 21. The Tweneboa-2 well, drilled around 6 km southeast of last year's initial discovery well on the field, found 32 meters of net hydrocarbon pay, comprising a 17-meter oil-bearing zone below a 15-meter gas condensate zone.
