Workings of UN climate panel to get review

Washington-A multinational committee of scientists, representing the world's science academies, will conduct a review of how the UN's climate science panel operates, in the wake of disclosures of errors in the panel's previous assessment, the UN said March 10.The reports by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change drive policy decisions at UN climate negotiations and by individual governments and agencies around the world. Many of the errors reported in the panel's most recent, 3,000-page fourth assessment are relatively minor.
