US 2007 oil, gas reserves additions exceed output

London-Additions to US oil and gas reserves in 2007 exceeded the volumes it produced, the Energy Information Administration said in its latest annual report.The EIA said proven reserves additions totaled 2 billion barrels, 0.3 billion barrels more than production of 1.7 billion barrels. This left year-end proven reserves at 21.3 billion barrels, nearly 2% higher than at the end of 2006.
