Apache to get $4.10/MMBtu for gas sold to Argentina

Buenos Aires-Apache Corporation said November 9 it has gained approval for a project in Argentina to supply 10,000 Mcf/d (about 283,168 cu m/d) of natural gas to the local power sector at $4.10/MMBtu from fields in the western province of Neuquen. It will sell the gas at that price for all of 2010 to Cammesa, a public-private entity that manages the wholesale power market, according to the deal approved by the Energy Secretariat, the Houston-based company said in a statement.
