Japan's AOC Holdings posts loss for 2008-09

Tokyo-Japan's AOC Holdings posted a consolidated net loss of Yen 31.77 billion ($330.66 million) for fiscal 2008-2009 (April-March), down from a Yen 4.67 billion net profit a year ago, the company said May 14.The loss was attributed to inventory valuation losses in its downstream businesses as a result of falling crude oil prices, coupled with weaker oil and petrochemical product sales prices, the company said.
