Canada's Addax ups stake in offshore Gabon license

London-Canadian explorer Addax Petroleum has acquired an additional 18.75% interest in the Gryphon Marin license offshore Gabon for a total 68.75% stake, the company said December 12. Addax, which operates the license, entered the Gryphon Marin license in September, acquiring a 50% stake in the West African block from Denver-based independent Forest Oil.
