Incidents of piracy in Asia fall in first half of the year

Hong Kong—Armed robbery and piracy incidents against ships in Asia dropped in the first half of 2008 compared with the corresponding period in 2007, the Singapore-based Regional Cooperation Agreement on Combating Piracy and Armed Robbery against Ships in Asia (ReCAAP) said in its half-year report.
