Saudi capacity could reach 15 million b/d

Madrid—Saudi Arabian oil minister Ali Naimi said June 30 the kingdom could raise its crude production capacity to 15 million b/d if called upon to do so, but that demand projections to 2030 showed it was unlikely that Riyadh would be asked to produce even the 12.5 million b/d total capacity level it will achieve by the end of next year.
