Fitch downgrades TNK-BP credit rating

Moscow—Fitch Ratings August 8 downgraded Anglo-Russian TNK-BP’s credit rating due to the ongoing battle for control of the company. Fitch said it had downgraded the company’s long-term foreign and local currency Issuer on Default to a BBB- rating and its short-term foreign currency F3 rating on Rating Watch Negative.
