Sydney-James Price Point looks to be firming up as the likely site for a proposed LNG hub in Western Australia's remote Kimberley region, after the local environmental authority ruled out the state government's other preferred location. The Western Australian state and Australian federal governments launched the Northern Development Taskforce to identify a location for a "common-user processing hub" for all the gas to be developed in the offshore Browse Basin in February.
