ExxonMobil files to expand Chicago-to-Texas Pegasus pipeline

Washington-ExxonMobil plans to expand its 66,000 b/d Pegasus crude pipeline to 96,000 b/d by early June 2009, and has asked the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for permission to allow it to charge market-based rates on the system, the company said in a filing with FERC.
