Igarka, Russia-Russia's Rosneft has revised upward its estimated investment for the development of the giant Vankor oil field in East Siberia by 33% to 6 billion due to increased reserves at the field, the head of the company's subsidiary Vankorneft said November 24. Last year, the company estimated the cost of the project at 4.5 billion. "We have increased the reserves as a result of increased work on the field's development," Vankorneft Director General Evgeny Popov told reporters in Igarka in the East Siberian Krasnoyarsk region.
