Diamond Offshore to build two jack-up rigs

Diamond Offshore Drilling has signed a letter of intent with Singapore shipyard operator Keppel PELS for the construction of two jack-up rigs at a total cost of us30O-mil,Diamond said May 2.One unit is to be built in Singapore,the other in Brownsville,Texas,Houston-based Diamond said.
