Tokyo-Japan's largest refiner Nippon Oil plans to process 3.61 million kiloliters (22.71 million barrels or 732,457 b/d) of crude in October, down 10% from a year ago due to sluggish demand for oil products, company officials said September 30. The planned throughput represents a utilization rate of 55.6%, based on the company's total installed capacity of 1.317 million b/d across seven refineries.
