International crude:Tight supply props North Sea

Differentials across the North Sea complex strengthened Wednesday on strong demand and tightening supply.The Dated Brent differential versus March cash BFO rose 12 cents/barrel Wednesday to plus 38.5 cents as BP bid February 6-9 Brent up to March cash BFO plus 35 cents.BP also bid for a back-end February 12-15 cargo to March cash BFO minus 10 cents.The Dated Brent flat price,meanwhile,jumped 1.41 due mainly to a 1.29 rise in March cash.Shell appeared in the window again,bidding for a February 12-15 Forties cargo up to Dated Brent plus 90 cents,pushing the Forties dated differential up to plus 94.5 cents.
