Crude futures tumble on stat projections

New York-August crude futures on the New York Mercantile Exchange settled 1.41/barrel lower at 67.77/barrel June 26 in a broad-based selloff ahead of the weekly US petroleum data due out June 27.Weak technicals encouraged liquidation of positions amid markets saturated with longs.July RBOB settled 5.56 cents lower at 2.2469/gal and July heating oil settled 4.91 cents lower at 1.9933/gal.
