Americas crude:BP buys ANS at US2.55 under WTI

BP has bought 600,000 barrel of Alaskan North Slope crude from ExxonMobil at US2.55/bbl under April WTI for delivery in April,according to a BP source Wednesday.It was not known where the crude in the deal,undertaken Tuesday,would be delivered.BP has in the past taken ANS to its 260,000 b/d Carson,California,refinery and to its 222,720 b/d Cherry Point refinery at Ferndale,Washington.The large buyer typically purchases 300,000-barrel lots of ANS.
