The Platts North Sea assessment for Dated Brent/Brent-Forties-Oseberg continued its record run Thursday,breaching the us55/bbl level to close at us55.58/bbl,up 73.5 cts/bbl on Wednesday.Rampant futures continued to pressurize the underlying May Cash BFO contract,which was assessed at us55.50/bbl up 69 cts/bbl over Wednesday's level.At 17:30 GMT the May futures contract on London's International Petroleum Exchange was trading at us55.35/bbl,up 47 cts/bbl on Wednesday's close.
