Gasoline: Return of Pernis eases European barge values

Values of gasoline barges in the trading hub of Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp eased Tuesday as availability in the region improved,traders said.Shell's 420,000 b/d Pernis refinery is at full operation having been closed by a power outage Jul 14.During that time,Shell was a major buyer of prompt barges as was Statoil that has an equity stake in the Pernis refinery.With Pernis down during peak demand,the crack relative to front-month IPE Brent crude contracts pushed to its highest point of the year,over 14/bbl.
