Cosmo to shut 4 CDUs

Japanese refiner Cosmo Oil has scheduled maintenance shutdowns at four of its six CDUs in 2004,a company spokesman said Tuesday.It is scheduled to shut the 130,000 b/d No 2 CDU at its Chiba refinery between May 12 and Jun 14 and the 120,000 b/d Sakaide refinery between Jul 1-26.Meanwhile,the refiner will shut the 80,000 b/d Sakai refinery between Sep 1 and Oct 17 and the 80,000 b/d No 5 CDU at its Yokkaichi refinery in between Sep 27 and Nov 13.
