摘要

We numerically demonstrate the possibility of the efficient generation of high-order harmonics and synthesis of subfemtosecond light pulses by superposition of several harmonics in aperiodical nonlinear photonic crystal LiNbO(3). A simple method of designing such a crystal is presented. Calculations are performed for the fundamental radiation with wavelengths 2.7 mu m and 5 mu m, which correspond to the wavelengths of the HF laser and CO lasers.
