Value added shapes premiums under pressure

In Europe, value added shapes premiums have fallen in US dollar terms as supply tightness has eased and consumers remain well stocked. 6063 billet delivered to Germany has dropped to $720-750/t, from its peak of $860/t in December 2014. But, the upcharge over duty paid ingot is more stable, down $25/t from its peak to $365/t, with sharper drops at the lower end of the reported range.
