RLC circuit realization of a q-deformed harmonic oscillator with time dependent mass

We consider an RLC circuit type realization of a q-deformed harmonic oscillator. The differential equations of motion characterizing this circuit are derived, and it is shown that the RLC circuit gets modified as a result of the q-deformation. The natural frequency, the capacitance and the external power source are all modified and become q-dependent. The energy aspects of the circuit are also studied and the effects of the deformation are shown. (C) 2015 Published by Elsevier B.V.
