Jianssu—Asahi Kasei Chemicals and DuPont China Holdings have reached an agreement under which DuPont will transfer its shares in their Asahi-DuPont POM (Zhangjiagang) Co. (ADZ) pol-yacetal joint venture in China to Asahi Kasei. Asahi Kasei said the two companies will now advance procedures to receive the necessary Chinese government approvals, and begin deliberations with clients regarding the transition. Timing of the share transfer and a new name for the company will be determined after approvals are received.
