Sibur Is Developing Its Biggest Project; Awards Ethylene. PE Plant Contracts

Moscow—Sibur said it is "commencing comprehensive development of its largest project, which will change the image of the company and of the Russian petrochemical sector." The project, being implemented by Sibur's ZapsibNefte-khim subsidiary at Tobolsk in Russia's Tyumen Region, includes a new ethylene plant, four polyethylene (PE) units and a previously announced polypropylene (PP) facility (PCN, 9 Jan 2012, p 3).
